This roof was leaking around the chimney due to improper flashing, which led to deterioration of the decking underneath. When we replaced the roof, we also replaced the damaged decking and installed a proper chimney flashing system to ensure long-term protection and eliminate future leaks.

After recent storms damaged the roof and gutters, a full replacement was needed. The homeowner had a tough time deciding between Pewter Gray and Shakewood shingles—but ultimately went with GAF Timberline in Pewter Gray, and they look fantastic! In 2023, we completed a roof installation for the homeowner using CertainTeed Belmont Impact Resistant shingles in the Shenandoah color. The shingles withstood recent hail events without damage. However, approximately 70 mph wind gusts during a recent storm dislodged a section of shingles.

Jayden has initiated a claim with the homeowner’s insurance provider to cover the wind damage and coordinate repairs.

You can see from the photos that this roof had really taken a beating and was due for a full replacement. Jayden worked closely with the homeowner’s insurance to get both the roof and the old decking replaced.

The homeowner chose GAF Timberline Natural Shadow shingles in Charcoal, and the new color looks fantastic—clean, modern, and a great complement to the rest of the home. Another job well done!
