Solution: Bryce worked with the homeowner and their insurance to get it all covered.
There was considerable damage to the shingles.
The decking had deteriorated and the vents were collapsing.
THe new GAF Natural Shadow shingles in slate look great. We also added 6 new vents to the roof.
